The Health Center at Kingswood offers personal assistance and skilled nursing care in a neighborhood setting.
Our Health Center, licensed by the State of Missouri, offers excellent nursing care to private pay residents, as well as, both Medicare and Medicaid recipients and provides services and amenities which grant residents as much independence as their personal health status will allow.
Our services include:
Medicare A (Rehabilitation Unit)
Join us at our newly renovated rehab unit for state-of-the-art- physical, occupational, speech, and aquatic therapy. Our specially trained and experienced staff will help you reach your specified goals. We are very successful in returning our Medicare residents to their former living environment. Kingwood's Medicare Skilled Nursing unit serves residents from the greater Kansas City area as well as residents of Kingswood. We work closely with all metropolitan area hospitals to arrange for our Rehabilitation services after a hospital stay.
Long Term Care
When your loved one needs skilled care for an extended period of time, our long term care team can provide the care and support they need. We have committed to higher than average staffing ratios as well as having the right people caring for your loved one. Our goal is to make your family member feel comfortable, secure and empowered to continue to be all they can be. Tailored assistance with daily activities, meals, bathing and nursing management and supervision are all provided in a personal, homelike environment.
Respite Care Services (short term stays)
As a caregiver, you may need a safe and secure place for your loved one. We can provide nursing care while you take a much needed break or vacation.
Hospice Services
Our trained staff can provide end of life care to your loved one with the dignity and respect they deserve during this difficult time. Our team includes a social worker, chaplain and nurses who are specially trained to handle pain management, comfort care and coordination of services with the hospice care organization of your choice.
