Kingswood Senior Living Community, founded in 1982, is a continuing care retirement community located on Wornall Road in Kansas City, Missouri. Kingswood includes a history of grand tradition and excellence in resident services. But mostly, it's a great place to call home.

Our goal at Kingswood is simple...to provide you with a safe, secure community and home where you can enjoy your days with peace of mind. At Kingswood, the staff takes care of the not-so-fun chores of daily living like home maintenance and upkeep, so you can focus on the things you like to do and the people you want to spend time with.

To accomplish this, Kingswood is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and proudly holds dual accreditation by both the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC) of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging and, the EAGLE Accreditation Program of the United Methodist Association. These important accreditations are a comprehensive assessment process that focuses on quality in areas such as resident life, health, wellness and financial strength. Founded in 1982, Kingswood is conveniently located on over 30 acres with great access to the many amenities of the Greater Kansas City area.

A proud part of our friendly Kingswood family are the numerous community and volunteer organizations and opportunities that make it so special. One of these organizations is the Kingswood Foundation.

The Kingswood Foundation was established so that residents and friends of Kingswood could assist in funding facilities and programs that would not be possible utilizing existing funding resources.

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees and is another example of the "Community" of Kingswood.
